Virtual Zone

Virtual Zone is a name that instantly stirs memories for any fan of Belgian club culture. In late 1998, the act stormed to the number one spot on the Ultratop chart with the title track "Virtual Zone," remaining there for sixteen weeks. In 1999, Virtual Zone repeated the feat with "Heaven," scoring another number one hit. With a distinctive sound defined by euphoric melodies and driving beats, the act became a true crowd favorite.

The remixes also made history: the "Tom Boonen Remix" of "Virtual Zone" and the "Zillion Remix" of "Heaven" became legendary club classics in their own right. More hits followed; "Into Temptation" reached the top 5, and "Looking For Love" entered the top 15 in 2000, while "Back From Beyond" and "Reality" also made the charts. In 2016, Virtual Zone made a comeback under the guidance of producer Patrick Kacmar, releasing new club tracks such as "Soldiers" and "Neutrino." A re-release of "Virtual Zone"—created as a tribute to cyclist Remco Evenepoel—introduced the act to a new generation.

Today, Virtual Zone is a staple at major 90s and 00s events. With two number one hits, iconic remixes, and new material, they deliver a set that the audience sings along to from start to finish. For those who lived through that era, it is a homecoming; for those who just missed it, it is an introduction to a sound that has truly stood the test of time.
